I'm John Groom, a personal accountant and advisor to dynamic guys who are very good at what they do who want to dramatically grow their businesses and who already run their own show without the support (or distractions) of various CFO's, COO's, CIO's, or assorted VPs.  For that kind of input, they call me. 

Over the years I have become intimately familiar with their businesses and financial situations, while they have gotten situation-specific knowledge about the organizational, tax, title and contract law issues pertaining to what they do.  Between us we have generally been able to quickly and efficiently:

• Grow the business and let the owner "get his life back",
• Structure the transactions,
• Get the desired tax treatments, and
• Make the systems and infrastructure efficiently do what they are supposed to do.  

I also prepare the tax returns.  Those returns are where the planning rubber meets the road, and they need to be taken care of by someone who completely understands that client's business and the reasoning behind their tax decisions.

The support and assistance I provide comes from the real-life experiences of many clients over many years.  It is not the theoretical advice that comes too often from attorneys and accountants who have never "been there."
